Narrative:

Wayne Community College has five main sources of information concerning policy and procedures, services available, programs offered, and course offerings: the WCC General Catalog, the WCC Schedule of Courses, the WCC Student Handbook, the WCC College Procedures Manual, and presentations.

All individual brochures, fact sheets, and general recruiting publications (i.e., Student Handbook, WCC recruitment CD, curriculum brochures, College Tech Prep brochure, WCC video, etc.) produced by various Wayne Community College offices and departments and available to the public are reviewed by the WCC Editorial Committee. The committee ensures that the information contained in these documents accurately reflects information in accordance with the WCC College Procedures Manual and the mandates governing Wayne Community College’s operation as an accredited community college within the North Carolina Community College System.

Faculty and staff provide presentations at area high schools, local organizations, area churches, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, annual community events and other events by invitation. These presentations include information about admissions, financial aid, academic programs, and available services.
