The Foundation of Wayne Community College’s Arts and Humanities spring lecture series begins with “The Devil at His Elbow: Alex Murdaugh and the Fall of a Southern Dynasty.”
Valerie Bauerlein will give this lecture on Monday, March 3, at 5:30 p.m. in Moffatt Auditorium located inside the Wayne Learning Center (the main building on campus with the flag poles in front). It is free and open to the public to attend.
Bauerlein is a national reporter for The Wall Street Journal who writes about small-town America and Southern politics, economics, and culture. She will speak about Alex Murdaugh’s crimes and family history, which is also the subject of her book (published with the same name as the lecture).
