The Foundation of Wayne Community College’s Arts and Humanities spring lecture series continues with “Voicing the Ongoing Fight for Freedom.”
Dr. Sonny Kelly will deliver this Keller Memorial Lecture and American Revolution Semiquincentennial Lecture on Monday, March 17, at 5:30 p.m. in Moffatt Auditorium located inside the Wayne Learning Center (the main building on campus with the flag poles in front). It is free and open to the public to attend.
Kelly is a professional performer, storyteller, motivator, speaker, veteran, and scholar. Through this performative lecture, he will share stories of Black North Carolinian veterans, inspiring others to celebrate and engage in the ongoing fight for freedom for all.
