Foundation of WCC Lecture – Walking the Portuguese Way: Our Journey on the Camino de Santiago

The Foundation of Wayne Community College’s Arts and Humanities spring lecture series continues with “Walking the Portuguese Way: Our Journey on the Camino de Santiago.”

This faculty spotlight lecture features WCC Applied Animal Science Instructor Jennifer Johnson and her husband, Kevin. It will take place Monday, March 10, at 5:30 p.m. in Moffatt Auditorium located inside the Wayne Learning Center (the main building on campus with the flag poles in front). The lecture is free and open to the public to attend.

The Johnsons will share about their journey along the Camino de Santiago from Porto, Portugal, to Santiago de Compostela in Aug. 2024. They will recount the highlights of their trip and delve into the rich history and significance of this ancient pilgrimage route.
