International Festival

Wayne Community College’s Cultural and Global Education Committee is hosting an International Festival with participation from WCC’s Multicultural Club, Global Scholars, and English as a Second Language (ESL) students, as well as other local organizations.

The festival will be held Monday, April 14, from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. in the Dr. G. Herman Porter Atrium located inside the Wayne Learning Center (the main building on campus with the flag poles in front). It is free and open to the public to attend.

The event will feature music, “Around the World” table displays of countries represented in the community, international board games, a language exchange area, a mandarin calligraphy station, and more. Attendees can also participate in a Zumba flash mob at 12 p.m.
