“The Moving Wall” Vietnam Veterans Memorial replica display is one of several POW/MIA events being put on by the Wright Chapter of the Air Force Sergeants Association. The college is hosting it in its South campus field.
It will arrive with a 150-biker escort at around 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 15. The public is encouraged to bring American flags and line Wayne Memorial Drive from the (new) US 70 Bypass to the college’s main entrance to greet the procession. Once the truck and bikers are parked, a welcome ceremony will be held in the WLC South parking lot. It will be installed the next morning and will be open to the public from that point through Sept. 20.
