Wayne Community College will once again host Trunk-or-Treat on its campus, giving the community a chance to celebrate the Halloween season.
The event will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 29, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Gates will close at 7:30 p.m., but those who are in line before that time will be able to enter the event. It is free and open to the public to attend.
This year, WCC is partnering with UNC Health Wayne to host Trunk-or-Treat. WCC and UNC Health Wayne personnel will hand out candy to trunk-or-treaters. Bags will be provided for individuals to collect candy.
WCC’s Campus Police Department will be in attendance throughout the evening. All entrances to the College will be open, and parking directions will be given upon arrival.
Three food trucks will be on campus this year. Attendees will be able to purchase refreshments from Chubby’s On The Go, The Funnel Cake Shack, and Southern Ground Coffee.
