Wayne Community College’s Counseling Services will hold a Wellness Fair to recognize Mental Health Awareness Month on Wednesday, May 1st from 10 a.m.–1 p.m.
This free event will take place in the courtyard outside of the Wayne Learning Center (the building with the flag poles in front) or in the WLC Student Lounge in case of inclement weather. It is open to the public to attend.
Tables and activities will be set up for participants to engage in recreational play, learn destressing tools, participate in art therapy and wellness screenings, and more.
Community organizations such as Wayne County’s Mental Health Association; Arts Council; and Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program will be part of the event as well.
