Kay Cooke has joined the Wayne Community College Board of Trustees.

Huang Shizhu, an assistant professor at Heilongjiang Vocation Institute of Ecological Engineering in Harbin, People’s Republic of China, came to WCC to learn more about the forest management program.

Moseley Architects and Daniels and Daniels Construction Company have been approved as the "design-build" team for WCC's new Automotive and Collision Repair Building.

WCC will hold "Homegrown Science in NC" 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday, April 13 in the Wayne Learning Center Atrium. It is an event of the North Carolina Science Festival with its theme of “Made in North Carolina.”

NC Community College System President Peter Hans visited Wayne Community College on March 7.
