Wayne Community College has tapped Dr. Patty Pfeiffer to serve as interim vice president, the position soon to be vacated by Dr. Gene Smith Jr.

WCC will be closed Dec. 23-Dec. 30. It will be open on Dec. 31 but closed on Jan. 1, 2019. Spring registration is Jan. 2-4.

WCC will offer several classes in southern Wayne County this spring.

The Winter Fine Arts Festival is set for the evening of Thursday, Dec. 6.

WCC has been awarded nearly $2 million to improve its ability to guide students toward completion of their academic goals.
