A Wayne Community College student is the recipient of an aviation scholarship from the National Business Aviation Association.

The college will hold its annual Veterans Celebration on Thursday, Nov. 8 in the Atrium of the Wayne Learning Center. Events include a “Thank A Vet” reception, Military and Partners Expo, and an exhibit of veteran-created art from the VetStories project.

Paralympic medalist told his audience that "“A lot of times in life, people find themselves missing the mark. The difference is what you do about it.”

Wayne Community College will hold its first fall commencement this December.

Art and a wreath are being raffled to help with student costs for a trip to Spain.
