Close to 100 pieces of student art will be on display and available for purchase during this year’s juried art show at Wayne Community College on the morning of Friday, April 8.
The location for the juried show is the Student Lounge in the Wayne Learning Center (building with flags in front) on the college’s main campus in Goldsboro.
All proceeds from the sale will go to the Foundation of Wayne Community College’s Fine Arts Fund which provides scholarships and enrichment activities.
The juried pieces will be joined by others created by WCC Drawing, Painting, and Design students to form an exhibition in the Atrium of the Wayne Learning Center from April 25 to 29.
The pinnacle of the event is the Spring Fine Arts Festival, set for 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 28 in the Atrium of the Wayne Learning Center. The winning pieces from the juried show will be announced. The remaining original art and prints of past student works can also be purchased that evening.
