Linda Leacott Berard has been recognized by the National Association of Educational Office Professionals.
Berard was awarded a Bachelor Degree Certificate and Certified Educational Office Employee Distinction Certificate. They were earned through the organization’s Professional Standards Program (PSP).
The PSP is the only national certification program for educational office professionals. The certificate level is based on the completion of requirements in education, experience, and professional activities.
PSP provides the opportunity for members to enhance their professional competencies through academic programs, conferences, and institutes.
Berard is the executive assistant for the Wayne Business and Industry Center at Wayne Community College.
She has been employed at the college for 10 years during which she has held numerous offices, including president, in the Wayne Community College Association of Educational Office Professionals unit, and is currently serving as the president of the North Carolina Association of Educational Office Professionals’ District 12.
