Wayne Community College has a handful of seats available in a leadership series for business and industry managers.
The “Business and Industry Leadership Workshop Series” begins Thursday at the college. Sessions run 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and include “Essentials of Leadership” on May 23, “Essentials of Communication” on May 29, “Providing Performance Feedback” on June 5, and “Resolving Conflict” on June 12.
Participants who attend all four of the sessions will receive a certificate.
“This series is specifically for current and upcoming first-line managers and team leaders who work for local employers,” said Nicole Brown, director of training and development for the Wayne Business and Industry Center.
“It is a special offering with limited seating,” Brown said. “We encourage employers to send their employees who could benefit from these sessions, those who are already in management and those who are moving into leadership positions.”
There is no charge for employees of Wayne County businesses and industries.
Contact Brown at 919-739-7011 or nbrown@waynecc.edu for more information and to register.
