The deadline for new and returning Wayne Community College students to apply for fall 2019 Foundation of WCC scholarships is approaching.
WCC students and incoming students who are not 2019 high school graduates who plan to attend Wayne Community College in the fall 2019 semester have until the close of business on Tuesday, April 30 to turn in completed scholarship applications.
Scholarship applications are available in the Foundation office in Suite 101 of the Dogwood Building on the college’s main campus in Goldsboro. They also can be printed from www.waynecc.edu/
Students seeking Foundation scholarships are required to apply for federal financial aid and can do so online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

The Foundation provided 580 scholarships worth nearly $408,674 this academic year to students enrolled in WCC college credit, Workforce Continuing Education, and Transitional Programs courses. In addition to raising and dispersing funds for scholarships, it provides funding for innovative campus projects and employee recognition, and offers cultural programs for the community.
