Wayne Community College’s Cultural Diversity/Global Education Task Force will host an International Festival on campus.
The festival will be held Monday, Apr. 22 from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. in the Wayne Learning Center (the building with the flag poles in front). It is free and open to the public.
Throughout the day, there will be country posters and displays, a Peruvian pan flute player, a henna artist, live music and dance performances, a presentation on the evolution of Mexican music, and more.
“In keeping with the core values of WCC, the Cultural Diversity/Global Education Task Force would like to honor the diversity of our community through a display and celebration of the vast cultures our students and staff represent,” said Bill Reboli, chair of the task force.
