Wayne Community College has scheduled information sessions for anyone considering entering the allied health field.
The hour-long meetings will be held at noon and 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27 in Room 225 of the Pine Building on the college’s main campus in Goldsboro. No reservation or advance registration is required.
The presentations will cover career opportunities as well as WCC admission criteria for the upcoming academic year, financial aid options, and program expectations.
The practical nursing, associate degree nursing, dental hygiene, dental assisting, medical assisting, medical laboratory, and pharmacy programs will be discussed.
These programs are limited admission programs that require a separate application from the general college application and have unique requirements that must be met by specific deadlines.
Individual appointments are available for anyone who cannot attend these sessions.
