Wayne Community College’s Janeil Marak has been named the 2017-2018 Katrina V. Miller Administrator of the Year by the North Carolina Association of Educational Office Professionals (AEOP).
Marak, the Dean of Allied Health and Public Service Division, was selected the 2017 Administrator of the Year at the college and the district AEOP levels, which put her in the running for this award. She will now compete at the national level for administrator of the year. The winner of that contest will be announced at the National Association of Educational Office Professionals conference in July.
The AEOP is a professional organization of educational office personnel and administrators. It provides its members educational opportunities, a professional standards certificate program, scholarships for member and students, a legislative platform and awards at levels from the individual unit to the state organization.
