Wayne Community College will hold a Military Recruitment Fair on Thursday, April 7.
Two sessions are available: 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and 6-7:30 p.m.
They will be held in the Atrium of the Wayne Learning Center (building with flag poles in front) on the college’s main campus in Goldsboro.
Recruiters from the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard, as well as their National Guard and Reserve components and military academies, will be in attendance.
Some representatives will have presentations at specific times. These include Army (10-10:30 a.m.), Air Force (10:45-11:15 a.m.), academies (11:30-noon), and Coast Guard (12:15-12:45 p.m.
“Even if you are not currently considering a career in the military, you should plan to attend this event to find out what the military has to offer,” said WCC Director of Career Development Elvira Johnson. “They have several options that might appeal to you as you pursue your educational and career goals.”
The fair is open to the public. Registration is not required for attendees.
