The Wayne Community College Association of Nursing Students (WCCANS) has donated $1,265 to assist cancer patients.
The organization sold pink ribbon face masks during Breast Cancer Awareness Month to raise funds for the nonprofit organization, Southeastern Cancer Care. Also known as “Cures for the Colors,” the program helps cancer patients from east of Interstate 95 with gas, grocery, medication, utility, and other expenses.
