Wayne County Reads' 2019 book selection is the New York Times bestseller, Educated by Tara Westover.

The commencement ceremony for Summer 2018 and Fall 2018 curriculum graduates will be held at the Maxwell Regional Agricultural and Convention Center this Wednesday afternoon.

Wayne Community College has tapped Dr. Patty Pfeiffer to serve as interim vice president, the position soon to be vacated by Dr. Gene Smith Jr.

WCC will be closed Dec. 23-Dec. 30. It will be open on Dec. 31 but closed on Jan. 1, 2019. Spring registration is Jan. 2-4.

WCC will offer several classes in southern Wayne County this spring.
