George Herman Porter, 85, died Sunday, February 24, 2019. Dr. Porter served as Wayne Community College's third president from 1987 to 1992.

Wayne County Reads has scheduled programs for each Tuesday in its March 2019 “season of reading.” 

Testing for the National Career Readiness Certificate will be held four times at WCC in March.
