Summer Term Registration Begins Next Week

April 01, 2019

Even though spring is barely here, it is time to think about summer classes.

Open registration for summer 2019 college credit courses at Wayne Community College is scheduled for 8 a.m.-7 p.m., April 9-11 and May 20 on the main campus in Goldsboro.

An “extended registration” period will be held April 23-May 8. During this time, current students can register online. New students or those who haven’t taken a WCC class in two or more consecutive semesters will be able to register any time an advisor is available.

Students are encouraged to register as soon as possible to have the best selection of courses.

A complete schedule of summer courses can be found at www.waynecc.edu/course-schedules/. Many of these courses are offered online, providing students with flexibility to engage in other activities.

Full-term summer classes run May 21-July 24. A few condensed courses will be offered online June 10-July 24.

Courses offered this summer range from general subjects such as Art Appreciation and Introduction to Business to focused ones such as Simulation and Game Development Production Management and Transportation Climate Control.

Tuition and fees are due May 13 for those who register through May 8. Those who register on May 20 must pay that day.

The college’s payment plan is an option for those who cannot pay tuition and fees in one sum. Details can be found at www.mycollegepaymentplan.com/waynecc.

New students must complete the enrollment process, meet with a counselor, and be accepted to the college, then meet with their advisor in order to register for classes. The steps that new students need to take are explained at www.waynecc.edu/apply-now/.
