Due to the popularity of his first presentation, Wayne Community College’s president will lead a second birding seminar.
Dr. Thomas A. Walker Jr. will present “The Joy of Birding II” 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24.
He will continue his discussion of basic principles of bird identification, identifying birds specific to eastern North Carolina, and using free web-based bird identification resources.
The seminar will be held at Fremont Town Hall, 120 E. Main St. in Fremont.
There is no charge to attend but registration is required by contacting Lisa Newkirk in Workforce Continuing Education Services at 919-739-6931 or ldnewkirk@waynecc.edu.
