To help support those who were impacted by Hurricane Helene’s devastation in Western North Carolina, Wayne Community College will be collecting supplies in partnership with 4 Day Movement, Inc. to be transported by Fairwinds Aviation to the affected areas.
The items requested are cases and gallons of water, flashlights, batteries (AA and AAA), paper products (plates, cups, silverware, etc.), non-perishable foods, diapers, baby wipes, toiletries, blankets, and children’s toys.
Items can be donated by Thursday, Oct. 3, at 5:30 p.m. and dropped off in the Student Lounge in the Wayne Learning Center (the main building on WCC’s campus with the flag poles in front).
