Wayne Community College will hold its fall graduation on Friday, Dec. 15.
The ceremony will be held at The Maxwell Center at 11 a.m. and will recognize the College’s summer 2023 and fall 2023 curriculum (college credit) graduates.
A total of 542 students are planning to graduate with 725 degrees, diplomas, and certificates awarded.
Derek Sparrow of Seven Springs will be the speaker. Sparrow is the assistant district coordinator of Aflac’s Goldsboro district. He will also receive an associate in applied science degree in Risk Management and Insurance during the ceremony.
WCC’s commencement ceremony is a ticketed event with each graduate receiving five tickets for guests. The event will be livestreamed on the College’s main Facebook page.
