The Wayne Community College Association of Educational Office Professionals (WCCAEOP) will be collecting and donating Christmas gifts for children in the foster care system in Wayne County.
Community members are invited to contribute new and unwrapped gifts for children who are two months through 17 years old.
Donated items will be accepted through Dec. 4 and can be dropped off on WCC’s campus in Room 241 of the Wayne Learning Center (the building with the flag poles in front) or Room 222A of the Walnut Building. Cash donations may also be provided to Krystle Anderson, WCCAEOP treasurer, in Walnut 222A.
“Instead of it being a sad time for these kids, it’s important for us to uplift them and help bring them joy,” said Anderson. “Anybody who helps or supports this project is greatly appreciated.”
For more information, contact Anderson at (919) 739-6916 or kmanderson@waynecc.edu.
