“The business of America is business,” and the Associate in Applied Science Degree in Business Administration is designed to prepare you for a career in today’s technology-based global economy. With this degree, you will be able to apply leadership skills necessary to manage and motivate employees, analyze financial statements, manage a firm’s finances, construct business proposals, conduct business analysis, deliver products and services in an efficient and effective manner, understand basic business law, apply various computer applications and skills, and even own and operate your own business.
This degree can be earned through traditional seated classes, totally online, or hybrid classes.

You will become a well skilled graduate who is prepared for a growing labor market. You will find classes to be small where instructors get to know you personally allowing for more individualized instruction. You may receive credit for work experience.

Employment: You will receive the necessary training to become a business owner, manager, or first-line supervisor, and be prepared to work in government agencies, financial institutions, and a variety of business environments.
Salary: Salaries for entry level positions range from $23,000 to $32,000, depending on the industry you choose. The U.S. Department of Labor has projected a 12 percent employment growth in this area over the next decade.
