SJAFB Civilian Access Info
Effective May 7, 2025, a real ID-compliant driver’s or state-issued ID will be required to access federal government facilities and military installations. If your ID has a star in the upper right-hand corner, it is already compliant. A valid passport is also an acceptable form of identification.
This requirement also applies to Visitor Pass recipients, so please ensure they have proper identification before arrival.
For any questions, contact the Visitor Control Center at 919-722-1344.
In order to attend classes on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base students at WCC must apply for a base pass. Security Forces uses the information from the Background Security Check to determine a student’s access to the base; students may be denied access based on the results. You are only contacted if there is an issue with the information you submitted (ie. incorrect tag number, expired plates, or if you are denied base access).
A new Background Security Check (BSC) Form must be submitted each term.
To check the status of your Background Security Check, please contact the SJAFB Visitors Center at (919) 722-1343.
Passes will not be issued until 7 days before the class. The Visitor’s Center closes at 4:30 pm.
