WCC Virtual Choir
What’s a Virtual Choir?
A virtual choir is a group of people that come together from multiple geographic locations to combine their voices over the internet. It can be created from the comfort of your home without ever having to be in contact with others and is safe during COVID-19.
What does a virtual choir look like?
Take a look at our virtual choir performances from last semester!
“Fly Away Home”
“Stand By Me”
Who can participate?
This is open to all WCC students, faculty, and staff.
Will I be heard and seen alone in the virtual choir performance?
That depends on you! When submitting your virtual choir recordings, you will be given the option of being featured as a “soloist.” If you are comfortable with that, you can check “yes”. If you are not, then you can check “no”. You will not know if you’ve been featured until the virtual choir performance is released (if you checked “yes”).
I’m interested! How do I participate?
Submit the form below. Randi Chalfant, WCC Music Instructor, will review your request and send you recording instructions.
If you have any additional questions about singing in the virtual choir, please feel free to contact Randi Chalfant at 919-739-6839 or rmchalfant@waynecc.edu.
